BURBERRY MENS SPRING 14

Creative director, Christopher Bailey created a colourful collection, with the theme of relaxed styling. The elegance of Burberry was prominent, in the forms of sharp, smart looks and bold trench coats. However, there were elements of relax themes, these items had simple structuring and casual styling.

Love:

The colours really stand out and make this look bold

BALENCIAGA MENS SPRING 14

I loved this collection, there isn't a single item that I wouldn't wear. Alexander Wang is continuously proving that he is making the brand bigger and better, with even more modern clothing and styling. The collection featured little colour, with a varied range of materials, the ensembles looked sharp, casual and well constructed. Take a look at my favourite looks below.

Love:

I'm dying over that jacket, I love the material choice.

BOTTEGA VENETA MENS SPRING 14

The collection presented was masculine with various uses of casual items, the classic suit was presented numerous times, with the addition of geometric prints and materials. The pieces were very wearable for any man, with a particular few, reserved for specific fashionista's. The collection was finished with a grand finale of suited male models.

Love:

Clement Chaubernaud opening the show, wearing a classic suit.

NOIR DENIM

Hey guys, enjoying summer? The weather has been very generous lately and I wanted to hit the streets to show off my clothes. I got this jacket from Zara and I cannot wait to show it off for you, I hope you like how I presented it here! I wanted a really youthful and care-free style today, and I thought the jacket and comical juxtaposition between the shirt and belt would help.

I hope you're having an awesome time, and truly enjoying the weather. I plan to continue posting often, and reading all your comments. Enjoy the set of photos and I'll see you next time~!

MICHAEL KORS PRE S/S 14

Michael Kors is able to design clothes that are very comfortable and flattering for a woman, aiming his target audience at a wide based view. The cruise collection involves tanned tones, animal motifs and fabulous fur. The collection initially began with tanned tones - in the forms of coats, leather minis and cotton knits, all finish with a pair of matching heels. Animal prints were also seen, he proposed these prints through giraffe and leopard prints, also seen on Jennifer Lopez at the Met Gala 2013. Knitwear was also used, he presented them on dresses and large jumpers. The collection finished with giraffe print gowns, all looking beautifully modern.

Love:

I love the fur, wow.

JASON WU PRE S/S 14

Jason Wu plays with many materials, colours and shapes in this collection. This year's cruise involves youthful styling, sexy sheers and beautiful gowns. Plant print was rather prominent, on tops, skirts, dresses, handbags - you name it! He also uses monochrome as a colour base, adding outbursts of colour throughout the collection, with a finale of alluring gowns.

Love:

I love the shapes used in this outfit - the high waist shorts, the cropped longsleeve top with a crisp white shirt.

GIVENCHY PRE S/S 14

The collection featured clean whites, dynamic prints and plenty of shapes. I've always loved the photographs produced for Givenchy campaigns and this one, doesn't disappoint. The collection proposes day-wear, with simple white ensembles. At the same time, presenting night out in New York. Take a look at the best and worst looks below.

Love:

I adore this look, there's something about the cleanliness and crisp shapes. It's a very simple look, but simplicity is key.

'STUCK UP' BY ROBBIE FIMMANO

I loved this campaign, it features the season's most hottest shoes, with the addition of chewing gum. The juxtaposition is genius - something wealthy, in contrast with something cheap. The photos were featured in Interview magazine, titled 'Stuck Up' photographed by Robbie Fimmano and styled by Vanessa Chow

BALENCIAGA PRE S/S 14

This collection was rather 'off' for me. There are some items and looks which really stand out, as beautiful, simple pieces. However, there are some, which seem messy and too casual. Alexander Wang (new creative director at Balenciaga) presented a monochrome collection, with the same modern aesthetic as the Fall/Winter collection, with asymmetric shapes and various cut-outs.

Love:

First of all, the hat is hideous - it looks like a New Year's hat. The jumpsuit however is genius, I adore the modernity of the outfit, with two simple cut-outs on the backside.

DKNY PRE S/S 14

I loved this collection, everything about it is amazing! I've never before been so excited about DKNY, but here it is. The whole collection is very edgy, with heavy use of leather and casual motifs. Donna Karan is able to juxtapose feminine colours, with masculine pieces, creating a very wear-able collection! Check out my favourite pieces below.

Love:

I love this look, the light touch of pink material, almost hiding underneath the heavy jacket. I like the mix of high and low, with a strong heel.

The summer is finally here and I prefer to go by the saying "It's never too hot, to wear all black." Today was another shopping trip in London, where I got to purchase a few items. I bought a classic denim jacket and a lovely 'Homiรจs' t-shirt. Check it out below!

FAUX FASHIONISTA

I have created the term 'Faux Fashionista' as a way of describing certain individuals, who claim to be 'very' interested in fashion; but when asked about it, their justifications are limited and simply structured. They may say, they like Chanel or Gucci (perhaps the more obvious brands), but when I ask about the recent collections, they seem stunned and confused.

Could they name one?
