For Fall 2015, Riccardo Tisci presented a rather tame collection for Givenchy. This season, he created a hybrid woman of Victorian culture and Chola appearance; he gave the models kiss curls and braids, with huge septum piercings a faceful of glued-on gems. The collection also echoed his previous collections, with themes of Goth, corseted tops and peplum jackets. The execution was precise in a romantic dark hues, presented on velvet which was alluring.

Despite its dramatic presentation, I really like the collection. It's interesting to see his influence of Victorian style infused with Chola references. The face jewels look almost poignant, with a deeper meaning. And the velvet really reinforces the Victorian feel, along with tight corsets in the collection. Either way, the collection is certainly fitting for the LVMH owned brand, edgy and questionable in its nature.
